After brief forays in the emergency services and construction sales, I moved into recruitment in 2016. Landing fresh faced into the world of HR recruitment only 4 days ahead of the Brexit referendum, followed a few years later by a global pandemic. To say I’ve learnt a lot is an understatement!
Having worked for a FTSE 250 agency for the last 5+ years gave me the opportunity to work with a vast array of clients, from multi-nationals to fledgling start-ups. However, I always felt one thing should remain constant – an emphasis on truly partnering with my customers and building long lasting, valued relationships. Having a real passion for all things Talent and D&I related helps too!
With this in mind I was thrilled to join Oakleaf Partnership and help grow our commerce and industry division. Having the opportunity to contribute to, and build upon, such a well respected HR specialist is very exciting. Combining my personal portfolio with Oakleaf’s is just the beginning of great things to come, and I look forward to sharing this success with all of my candidates and clients.
Outside of work I love spending time outdoors running, hiking, climbing, and camping. While it’s nice to sit back and enjoy nature, I often find myself combining these hobbies with my (overly…) competitive nature, and have completed multiple races and challenges including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Leeds Castle Triathlon, Tough Mudder and more.
