Chief People Officer Opportunity – Private Equity-Backed, Tech-Enabled Professional Services Firm
Our client, a dynamic private equity-backed, tech-enabled professional services firm with 300+ domestic employees (including contract staff), is seeking a visionary Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their C-suite team. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to bring strategic focus to the HR function, elevate HR capabilities to support rapid scaling, and drive a culture of high performance and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and mature HR processes to align with the needs of a growing, high-performing business.
- Lead, inspire, and develop an HR team of business partners, specialists, and office services professionals into a cohesive, value-driven unit.
- Design and implement frameworks for strategic talent acquisition and management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR matters, championing a forward-thinking people strategy.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of HR leadership experience advising C-suite executives and shaping HR strategies.
- Broad expertise across HR functions, with a focus on talent acquisition, talent management, and driving organizational performance.
- Proven track record in scaling HR capabilities within tech-enabled or professional services organizations.
- A foundation in best-in-class HR environments, coupled with recent experience transforming HR in smaller, high-growth companies.
- Experience in PE-backed businesses and familiarity with M&A due diligence and post-merger integration (PMI) are advantageous.

This position is based in Lower Manhattan, with a requirement to work onsite four days per week and limited travel.
