Deputy Payroll Manager – Permanent – London – Hybrid – up to £85,000 per annum
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a reputable company, looking for an experienced payroller, on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for the BAU, and the leadership and management of the Payroll team, on a hybrid basis, based in their central London office.
The Deputy Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
- Lead the payroll team to support the payroll function, spanning the EMEA regions.
- Lead global payroll strategies and collaborate with local People teams
- Responsible for looking at current processes and finding solutions to ensure that they are the most efficient, automated, and accurate way of working
- Record, analyse, investigate and resolve all payroll queries and reporting to the relevant persons
- Responsible for completing year end procedures and payments, in an accurate and timely manner, including final amendments

- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators
- Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to team members to optimise operational excellence
Key Skills:
- Experience in leading and developing a team in payroll processing Minimum of 7 years experience of UK & EMEA payroll management
- Experience in managing outsourced third-party payroll providers
- Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
- Excellent communication skills
