Our client is one of the world’s leading law firms. They have an amazing opportunity for an HR leader to join their firm as a Director of Legal Partner Recruitment, developing and shaping the firm’s strategic attorney recruitment function.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify individual and group candidates to advance the Firm’s lateral-hiring strategy, particularly in the Chicago, IL market, while aligning with the Firm’s practice areas, products, industry groups, and diversity hiring goals.
- Participate in initial meetings with candidates, evaluating them while effectively communicating the Firm’s strategy and the opportunity at hand.
- Manage relationships with recruitment firms, negotiating fee proposals and service agreements in collaboration with the Lateral Recruitment team.
- Collaborate closely with sponsoring partners to create a full interview slate.
- Oversee day-to-day partner sourcing and recruiting efforts for the Chicago office, coordinating interviews, managing materials, and collecting feedback.
- Assist sponsoring partners in preparing offer packages and materials for Management Committee review.
- Collaborate with sponsors and Firm management to ensure successful execution of integration plans for new hires.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of professional recruitment experience.
- 2+ plus years with lateral partner recruitment experience.
