We are partnered with a global Real Estate company in their recruitment of an Employee Relations Advisor to join their small and collaborative team initially on a 12 month contract. This will be a varied and hands on role supporting the business with all aspects of Employee Relations. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide expert advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on a wide range of employee relations issues, ensuring the interpretation of policies and procedures is clear and consistent.
– Manage employee relations cases effectively, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, capability assessments, absence management, and employment tribunal cases.
– Monitor trends in employee relations cases and contribute to routine reporting for HR teams and senior management.
– Collaborate with HR colleagues to maintain a consistent, fair, and inclusive approach to employee relations.
– Stay informed about changes in employment law, best practices, and company HR policies, flagging any necessary updates.
– Liaise with relevant stakeholders, escalating issues when required and highlighting risks and urgent actions.
– Consult with ACAS as needed and produce correspondence related to employee relations matters and outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

– CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
– Proven experience in an employee relations or HR generalist role, with a strong background in case management and project delivery.
– In-depth knowledge of employment law and best practices.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
