Oakleaf Partnership are partnering with a charity based in York to recruit for a newly created HR Business Partner position. This role is initially a 12-month contract and will work with closely the Head of People Operations and Chief Executive to develop a people strategy with a focus on wellbeing, belonging and inclusion.
The role
In this role the HR Business Partner will provide HR advice and guidance to the senior leadership team on all HR matters and deal with complex casework spanning performance, attendance and complex employee relations. You will lead on the development of all internal HR policies, contracts and procedures and work with the CEO on the HR strategy and the building of a culture that centres on wellbeing, belonging and inclusion.
What are we looking for
Our client is looking for a proven HR Generalist who has a strong background across the full generalist remit. You will need to have led a people strategy and completed complex employee relations work. You will need to be in the York office once day per week to work and collaborate with the team and provide support to the CEO. In this role it is imperative that you can build strong internal relationships with the employee workforce but also trade unions where necessary. A background or passion for ED&I will be incredibly beneficial.
