Human Resources Business Partner (& Special Projects) – 12-Month Contract

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term (potential to be extended)

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (& Special Projects) to join our client, a global communications firm, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and can flexibly manage HR projects with a commercial and strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic HR business partner to client groups, providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Work closely with business leaders, managers, and hiring managers to ensure seamless HR support.
  • Deliver integrated HR solutions in collaboration with the wider HR team.
  • Coach stakeholders on performance management, team building, and cultural initiatives.
  • Support talent development and retention by recommending and implementing effective HR strategies.
  • Lead and execute key HR projects across the UK & Ireland, as well as the wider EMEA region.
  • Oversee the roll-out of critical HR programmes, including:
    • Employee Engagement Surveys
    • Gender Pay Gap (GPG) activities
    • Talent Management (Succession Planning & Performance Reviews)
    • Other ad hoc projects aligned with business needs
  • Ensure all HR initiatives align with employment relations policies and best practices.

About You:

  • Experienced HR Generalist with a proven track record in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence key decisions.
  • Commercially astute with a deep understanding of business priorities and HR strategy.
  • A natural problem-solver who enjoys tackling challenges and delivering impactful HR solutions.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable working with ambiguity and autonomy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence others.
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation and labour relations best practices.
  • A degree in HR or a business-related field, with a relevant postgraduate qualification.
