We are seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to join a dynamic and expanding global insurance firm. This role offers true business partnering, focusing on three critical business areas (including one in Cheltenham) and overseeing an HR Advisor. The company has recently developed Centers of Excellence, enabling the HRBP to take a proactive and strategic approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers to enhance leadership skills and ensure effective team management.
  • Offer advice and support to managers and business leaders on complex employee relations cases, aiming for resolution and a positive work environment.
  • Lead talent management programs to improve leadership capabilities, increase talent density, and advance diversity and inclusion.
  • Assess employee sentiment and offer coaching to leaders to boost team effectiveness and organisational health.
  • Manage various HR activities to contribute to the overall success of the HR team.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner in the financial services sector, with a preference for insurance.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK financial services regulations, including SM&CR and Conduct Rules.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to forge effective partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Commercial mindset with the capability to manage risk using top-tier Human Capital solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deliver challenging messages.
  • Proficiency in project management and execution to drive HR initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
