HR Services Analyst – North America

New York City (4 days on-site)

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 + Bonus

Position Overview:

Join a dynamic reinsurance firm as a key member of the Human Resources team, supporting essential HR functions and optimizing HR operations. In this role, you’ll manage a range of HR processes, including onboarding, compliance, data management, and documentation, ensuring a legally compliant and efficient HR environment that supports employees across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
  • Manage HR records and documents, maintaining a well-organized and accessible archive.
  • Facilitate positive onboarding experiences for new hires and manage offboarding processes, including documentation and systems access.
  • Maintain and update employee records with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality; use Workday to streamline data input and retrieval.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure HR processes align with legal requirements in supported countries.
  • Generate HR reports using Workday, analyze trends, and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Create, update, and maintain HR policies and documentation, ensuring compliance with evolving employment laws and standards.
  • Train HR team members on Workday usage and manage support requests received through the Workday support mailbox.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a strong interest in pursuing one.
  • Proven experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ideally Workday, and familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving HR and business goals.
  • A customer-focused, employee experience-oriented mindset.
