The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Director to play a pivotal role in shaping their HR strategy and enhancing employee engagement. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role is based in their Los Angeles office.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CHRO to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals, with a strong emphasis on retention and employee satisfaction.
- Employee Engagement: Design and execute programs to strengthen morale, engagement, and organizational culture.
- Performance Management: Lead the administration of performance evaluation systems that encourage continuous feedback and professional growth.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and update workplace policies to promote equity and fairness.
- Data-Driven Solutions: Leverage HR analytics to identify trends and develop actionable improvement strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of senior-level HR experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems or the ability to quickly learn.
- SHRM-CP certification is a strong advantage.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% within California.
