Manager Legal Talent Acquisition (fully remote, interim)

We are working with a prestigious, global law firm who are looking for an Experienced Recruitment Specialist supporting strategic talent acquisition initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional legal professionals, ensuring a seamless recruitment process and excellent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
- Assess candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit through interviews and evaluations.
- Design, implement, and oversee recruitment-related programs and initiatives, including communication strategies.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
- Oversee background checks, reference verifications, and due diligence for new hires.
- Lead recruitment-related social media outreach and branding efforts.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on relocation, bar exams, and onboarding logistics.
- Support summer program planning and execution, including budgeting, mentorships, and training schedules.
- Stay updated on market trends in compensation and bonus structures to advise leadership.
- Maintain and manage recruitment systems, data entry, and reporting.
- Oversee executive hiring and partner with vendors to source top-tier talent.
- Develop and manage recruiting budgets and long-term workforce planning strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of recruitment professionals, providing ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of recruitment leadership experience gained for a large law firm.
- Demonstrable experience with full-cycle recruitment, especially for client-facing roles and executive positions.
- Strong familiarity with large firm recruitment processes is often preferred.
- Understanding of legal industry standards, roles, and required qualifications (e.g., bar admissions, practice areas, or specialization needs).
- Awareness of market trends in legal compensation, bonuses, and retention practices.
