MI Lead
Location: Birmingham (hybrid working)

Are you passionate about driving data-led decision-making and supporting transformation in a client-facing environment? I am looking for an MI Lead to join this Birmingham consultancy. This pivotal role focuses on delivering exceptional People data and insights, driving automation, efficiency, and enabling change and transformation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Chief People Officer to provide tailored reporting and insights, including headcount, KPIs, pay, diversity, and organisational structures, ensuring both business and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Lead and support change and transformation initiatives by delivering data-driven insights and aligning systems with strategic goals.
  • Build and deliver a clear vision for leveraging People data to inform client decisions and enable continuous improvement.
  • Develop advanced reporting and self-service tools to meet client-specific needs, using platforms like Power BI.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to support organisational and client transformation.
  • Manage and enhance HR systems, including Workday, ensuring they align with business objectives and enable efficiencies.
  • Conduct data audits, ensure GDPR compliance, and maintain data accuracy and integrity throughout transformational activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and enhanced stakeholder experience.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on People data and system transformation.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role with a focus on change and transformation, including supporting complex organisational shifts.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and a strong understanding of HRIS platforms.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying trends and delivering insights that drive transformation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, credible, and thrives in a busy environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for learning and staying ahead of trends in People data, technology, and transformation.
