Payroll Associate

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional to join a Global Financial Services Group. The role will play a key part in the running of 7 monthly UK payrolls, working within a close knit team.
The Payroll Associate responsibilities will include:
- Collate the monthly payroll data and provide to the payroll vendor.
- Review and reconcile the output, work with the payroll vendor to correct as necessary and provide the appropriate reports.
- Ensure that all the relevant deadlines are met and that the payments are reconciled and made on time.
- Assist with the post-Payroll administration i.e. raising third party payments, distributing P45’s, preparing Payment After Leaving letters etc.
- Responsible for the processing of team invoices.
- Prepare month end journals.
- Shared responsibility for maintaining the team mailbox and answering queries.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- 5+ years’ experience in payroll, with In-house payroll experience essential.
- Must have experience working within a payroll team environment.
- Experience with the payroll system Cloudpay, desirable but not essential.
- Advanced excel skills with excellent numerical and data analysis skills. (Pivot tables, Vlookups)
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
