Payroll Manager – Permanent – Watford – Hybrid basis
Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnered with this client on an exclusive basis. we are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team, on a permanent basis. This role will be directly responsible for 3 team members. This role is responsible for ensuring that the multi payrolls are processed in a timely manner for the UK.
The Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
* Processing Multi Payroll (fortnightly, Monthly) UK Payroll
* Processing of 2500 Employees (Mulitiple leagl entities)
* Record, analyse, investigate and resolve all payroll queries and reporting to the relevant persons
* Responsible for completing year end procedures and payments, in an accurate and timely manner, including final amendments
* Overview of process of auto enrolment and postponement not currently automated through the payroll
* Preparation and posting of payroll journals for the company P&L
* Reconciliation of payroll accounts to company balance sheet
Key Skills:
* Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
* Previous experience as a Payroll Manager or an Assistant Payroll Manger looking for their next step
* Experience of managing a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous inhouse Payroll experience desirable but not essential
